REQUIREMENTS
  1. Understand the landscape and context of user requirements, willing to pick up domain knowledge and work closely with the operational Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure
    1. project work is prioritized and arranged sensibly
    2. deliverables are requirements, and
    3. messages are effectively communicated to various level of stakeholders in a unified way
  2. Process mapping: Identifying as-is business processes. Defining to-be business processes. Gathering user requirements and analysing to identify any gaps
  3. Remediation design and documentation within alignment with stakeholders
  4. Testing: Work with SMEs to design the test scripts, then support the actual test procedures, identify bugs and work with development teams to resolve.
  5. Involved in helping to manage stakeholder relationships and driving cross-team collaboration with technical and business teams.
  6. Liaise with Investment Management stakeholder, and all in-scope business/technical teams to deliver together with the project team (including operationalize the enterprise standards, processes and procedures)
  7. Contribute to the delivery of one of the following platforms:
    • BlackRock Aladdin
    • Charles River Development
    • State Street Alpha
    • Thomson Reuters Eikon
    • FactSet
    • Bloomberg Terminal
    • Advent Geneva
    • Other platforms
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
  1. Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience for large-scale enterprise delivery; preferably experienced in Investment/Asset Management, Transformation, Business Process Re-engineering or Data related subjects
  2. Experience gathering user requirements, conducting gap analysis and completing remediation design
  3. Stakeholder management, proficient in setting and managing stakeholder expectations
  4. Good critical thinking, big picture as well as detail. Open minded, proactive and keen to learn
  5. Able to communicate effectively with senior executives and working level teams, including communicate complex issues clearly and simply
  6. Able to work in collaboration with others and accept delegated responsibility.
  7. Proficient in English and excellent in business writing
  8. Experienced in Insurance/Banking industry, and knowledgeable in people, process, systems and data change management
